Filming and Creating Hope Boxes at PAMM

On Sunday morning, members of the Junior Advisory Board of Joshua’s Heart Foundation met at the Perez Art Museum in Downtown Miami. We gathered promptly at 7:15am to discuss the making of our documentary. As we were being filmed by The Foundation for a Better Life, JAB members engaged in small activities, spoke about upcoming meetings, and prepared the scene for Elena’s “Project Hopeful.” We set up tables separated into different stations, encompassing a multitude of items. In an assembly line, JAB members collected one of each rudimentary product to put in their Hope Boxes. As for myself, I helped package and make sandwiches to later deliver to the homeless in downtown. Events such as these bring about Joshua’s Heart’s beneficial aura and fulfill its mission of stomping out hunger. A simple act of kindness accomplishes more than one presumes!

My name is Maria Olloqui and I am a junior at Ransom Everglades. After meeting Josh in sixth grade, I began to look up to him and his exemplary abilities to put others before himself. I feel fortunate to be associated with Joshua’s Heart Foundation, due to my enjoyment and satisfaction in helping others and my preference for teamwork. Together we can accomplish so much more.
