For 18 years, Detroit Newspapers in Education has partnered with the Ford Motor Company Fund and the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History to bring quality educational materials to Michigan students.
Each year the program focuses on the accomplishments and talents of African Americans in history and current day, under a variety of themes. The programs are aligned with Common Core State Standards and include a student supplement, teacher guide and poster. We hope you enjoy the rich archive of materials below.
