Amanda is 15 years old and is currently a freshman at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. An enthusiastic student, she is a candidate for the Bernadette Scholars program at her school, a program that requires her to take the schools most rigorous courses and pushes her to excel in her schoolwork.
Outside of class, Amanda is also an active performer and a member of her school’s Thespian troupe. She also enjoys volunteering through the Joshua’s Heart Foundation with all of the friends that she has made there. After being invited to join the National Junior Honor Society in middle school, which required her to complete a number of community service hours, Amanda began volunteering at the Joshua’s Heart Foundation. She fell in love with the organization after her first volunteer experience filling backpacks with food for hungry children.
Halfway through her third year with JHF, Amanda is now an regular volunteer and a Junior Advisory Board Member. She is honored to be so involved this great foundation and hopes to continue to support its wonderful cause.
