I am Anjali, I attend Emerald Heights International School, India. Because of my father's job in the Armed Forces, I have never lived at one place for over 2 years. All this time, my only constant has been volunteering. My project is called 'SUN' which literally translates to 'to hear' in Hindi and is an acronym for 'Students Unveiling New Languages'. Living in different parts of India enabled me to comprehend how stark the communication gap between communities is and the immediate need to tackle this problem. Hence, SUN's motto is to bring light into the world of those who need it the most. It strives to reduce the communal gap between the mute and deaf, and the abled people by volunteering to teach basic sign language to the latter with the help of the former.
