Anthony is a senior graduating in 2018. He takes AP and Honors Classes and has been an honor roll student every year. He is an officer of his high school’s Patriot Club, where he helps veterans around Miami-Dade. For two years he was a member of the Key Club, where he took part in several community service events. He has a history of musical knowledge: played the piano for 8 years, saxophone for 2 years, and occasionally writes music for himself and others. He takes part in intramural sports at his high school and has been doing martial arts since 2013. He has been on the Junior Advisory Board for Joshua’s Heart for about 5 years and has his own project called the Blanket Project: a winter project where blankets are distributed to the homeless and needy. He is looking forward to his college years and he is certain that he will continue to be involved in helping those who don’t have access to basic needs such as food and medicine.
Meeting Joshua has provided Anthony with additional inspiration and understanding that there is no age requirement to follow your heart and stand for what you think is correct. Participating as a Junior Advisory Board Member at Joshua’s Heart Foundation gives Anthony the opportunity to focus his efforts aligning fund raising initiatives with the pleasurable task of being able to deliver basic needs to those who need it the most.
