Justin is a 17 year-old twin and attends Christopher Columbus High School. He has learned to work hard, help others and be respectful to his classmates and fellow teachers. Justin received the Kiwanis award for his leadership skills and for speaking up when a friend was being cyber bullied. He has a passion for volunteering and in the past has helped Baynanza, City of Miami, Miami-Dade Animal Services, Miami Dolphins, numerous events held by Joshua’s Heart Foundation, Miami Shores Presbyterian Church, Heidi Hewes Chapter of the Women’s Cancer Association, and America’s Moms for Soldiers. He and his twin-brother, Adrian lead and host the Joshua’s Heart Foundation Talent Show at the Miami Jewish Health Systems. This event is dear to him as his grandmother has been a resident of the Miami Jewish Health Systems since 2012.
He is grateful for the friendships that his grandmother has made at the Miami Jewish Health Systems and wants to give of his time to other elderly residents who are in need of interacting with youth. He enjoys and hopes to continue to lead this event. Justin is a firm believer that hunger can be stomped out if we all do our part to help society. We are one big community, and should offer our support to anyone in need.
