Turbulent Times for Venezuela Deepens Teen Advocacy in 3rd Year of Support for Her Homeland

Long time Joshua’s Heart teen advocate, Carlota Sosa focuses her philanthropic efforts on the needs of the smallest of Venezuela’s citizens

MIAMI – March 24, 2019 – PRLog — Despite the riots and political turmoil facing Venezuelans, Carlota Sosa is steadfast in her determination to not make the unrest at home stymie her yearly efforts to support the less fortunate of Venezuelans. In her 3rd year of advocacy, Carlota’s drive for Venezuela focuses mainly on the feeblest of humankind, the babies. From now until April 6th, the Joshua’s Heart Foundation volunteer is hosting a baby food, diaper and formula drive to send to the people of Venezuela on April 15th.

The young philanthropist is requesting donors bring food, formulas and any brand of diapers to help the needy. Times are tough for the nation, but it is during these tumultuous times that the poor and neediest suffer greatest. Despite the challenges, Sosa and her family have in place, all the necessary logistics (shipping, receiving and distribution) needed to properly execute and serve the most deserving of the Venezuelan people. Through partnerships with the Masismore Foundation and other organizations, Sosa can distribute the goods to extremely mal-nourished infants and hospitalized babies who desperately need sustenance to help combat diseases.

Founder and chief changemaker, Joshua Williams, now a freshman enrolled at NYU’s Stern School of Business, expressed his pride this way, “When young people activate, we change the world. I am glad to see the sustainability of the organization in my absence and feel a sense of pride and accomplishment when I see the youth leading the charge to make our world a better place for all its citizens.”

“My family and I are always ready to serve. I believe the best way to give back is to satisfy the needs of the neediest of individuals and families we can find,” declared Sosa. “Please continue to drop off donations until April 6th so we can impact as many families as possible,” she concluded.
