Volunteers are an integral part of Joshua’s Heart’s efforts to stomp out hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world. Our volunteers are both children and adults who work directly with the needy and in administrative and planning areas.
We understand that some people’s schedules only allow them to help out occasionally, while others are interested in making the commitment to take on a leadership role. That’s why Joshua’s Heart offers multiple volunteer programs.
Youth serve as a “board of directors” for the organization. Members serve as Joshua’s “right hand,” representing the foundation at events and guiding the younger volunteers. Click here to learn more about JAB. Must be between 10-18 years old.
A team of generous adults work with Joshua’s Heart. Their knowledge and experience is an invaluable asset to the organization. They teach our youth volunteers essential skills including event planning, fundraising and administration. Our adult advisors also offer executive-level advice to the organization. What capacity would you like to serve? Let us know. Contact us now.
Elves are a group of young people from across the United States and around the world that help Joshua’s Heart expand into new locations. They lead Joshua’s Heart’s efforts to stomp out hunger in their schools, neighborhoods, and cities. Elves responsibilities include creating fundraisers, participating in food and toy distribution and educating their peers about Joshua’s Heart and its mission to end hunger. No Age limit.
Volunteers who help out with our food donation programs gain hands on community service experience as well as the satisfaction of doing their part to stomp out hunger. We have an ongoing need for people to fill the following roles:
If you have or would like to gain, clerical experience, you would make a great administrative volunteer.
